In recent years the education and nonprofit sector has rapidly grown, particularly with the arrival of virtual classes. The nonprofit sector, often referred to as the “third sector” has gained importance as an increasing number of people have become more engaged in social and philanthropic activities, which was facilitated by online platforms.
Aspects such as rising mobile device usage and the desire for personalized digital education content have resulted in the quick adoption of internet-enabled gadgets as well as the growth of the online education sector.
Lately, the educational sector has felt the need of the consumer to change from traditional learning to personalized and interactive learning. Knowledge and instructional content are being delivered using the latest technologies and innovative methods as digitization continues to advance in the education sector, making learning and development an ongoing process. Innovative methods bring about a demand for visionary leaders, as well as the need for headhunters to identify such talent.
The online education market is on track to reach $166.60 billion in revenue by 2023, and it’s expected to keep growing at a steady pace, with an annual growth rate of 9.48% between 2023 and 2027. This means that by 2027, the market could be worth around $239.30 billion.
This growth highlights the growing popularity of online learning options as more people and institutions are seeking flexibility and educational solutions. Headhunting companies should seek qualified leaders with a true vocation to adapt and capitalize on the emerging opportunities that are being presented now more than ever.
