Principal · Zavala Civitas

Eva brings more than 15 years of business development experience in China. She joins Zavala Civitas after more than four years at Korn Ferry in Shanghai, where she served as Senior Client Relationship Manager, working with Chinese corporate clients on executive search and leadership advisory engagements. She previously held business development roles at SHL, Beisen and other international HR technology companies, building her career around the Chinese market.

Supporting Chinese companies as they expand internationally

Eva’s arrival comes as Chinese companies continue to increase their presence abroad. By the end of 2025, Chinese investors had established more than 50,000 overseas enterprises across 190 countries and regions, according to China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM).

As these companies expand, identifying the right leadership for each market becomes an increasingly important part of their growth.

“More and more Chinese companies are looking to establish a lasting presence in Europe and North America. My role is to help them identify and retain the executives who can lead that growth successfully in each market.”

Eva Wang · Principal at Zavala Civitas

Zavala Civitas believes that successful international expansion increasingly depends on combining outstanding Chinese executives with outstanding local executives who understand the markets in which companies operate.

“Eva’s experience helping Chinese companies address critical talent needs around the world is exactly what our clients need to grow successfully and harmoniously in new markets.”

Lorenzo Zavala · Partner at Zavala Civitas
